Who is responsible
The data controller is Glimpse Studio / Mark (Liu Ao). For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact [email protected].
You choose when to send an enquiry
When you submit, we receive your chosen contact details (a WeChat ID or phone number with country code) and your planning selections: location, optional date, collection, gowns, transport and film preferences. Please provide only your own contact details.
Browsing or choosing options does not submit an enquiry to Mark. The form is optional. Without contact details, we cannot reply through it, but you can still explore the planner or contact us directly.
To prevent spam and duplicate notifications, we also process submission times, rule versions, random enquiry references and keyed hashes of network and contact identifiers. The D1 enquiry record does not store the raw IP address. Cloudflare also processes operational and security logs under its service terms.
Used to answer this service enquiry
Mark uses these details to answer your photography enquiry and discuss your plans and availability. Submitting the form does not add you to a marketing list, make a booking or reserve a date.
For this service enquiry, our lawful basis is taking necessary steps at your request before a possible service contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR). Acknowledging this notice is not marketing consent.
Necessary anti-spam and reliability processing supports our legitimate interest, and visitors’ interests, in keeping the enquiry service safe and reliable. You can contact Mark with questions or to object where applicable.
Where your information goes
Mark can access your enquiry. Cloudflare provides the website’s enquiry processing and D1 database storage; Google / Gmail holds the email notification. These providers process the relevant information as part of those services.
Cloudflare and Google may process information outside the UK or the European Economic Area. We do not promise UK-only or EU-only storage or processing. You can contact us at the email above with questions about the services and international arrangements used.
How long records are kept
Enquiry records in the website’s D1 database are kept for 90 days after submission, then deleted.
Notification and reply copies in Gmail are not covered by the website’s 90-day deletion rule. Mark manages these manually according to whether the enquiry is still active and further correspondence is needed. Deletion from the website does not mean the email copies have also been deleted.
Access, correction and deletion
You can contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion of your enquiry information, or restriction and a portable copy where applicable. Requests are handled under the applicable data protection rules; rights such as deletion can have exceptions. You can also tell Mark you no longer wish to continue the enquiry.
If you have concerns, you can contact Mark. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): Make a complaint to the ICO.
Prefer not to use the form?
You can reach Mark directly by WeChat, phone or email. Third-party messaging services also have their own privacy terms.
