UK DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Wedding photography in London, Edinburgh and across the UK. Gentle documentary direction, digital storytelling and Mamiya 7II medium-format film — honest images with the texture of time.

RECENT STORIES
I care about whether a gallery can breathe — whether it holds your connection and your own rhythm. Architecture is the setting; what happens between two people is the real story.

THE GLIMPSE MOOD

THE GLIMPSE WAY
“A good photograph is not one that looks perfect,
but one that still feels like you years later.”
I’m Mark, the photographer behind Glimpse Studio. I love the soft light of an overcast British day and the colour and grain that only film can hold. I take care of routes, light and pace, so your attention can stay with each other.
Every analogue commission is photographed alongside a digital story. Film brings the unrepeatable surprise; digital provides a complete and dependable record. Romance should never require a gamble.
COLLECTIONS
Every collection can be shaped around your date, city and story. These are the foundations; your final service is set out clearly in the agreed plan and contract.
A relaxed way to remember this chapter in Britain: one city, one setting, and room to move at your own pace.
From hair and make-up to two or three settings, this collection tells a fuller story of one city.
The Glimpse signature experience: the light, architecture and emotion of one city shaped into a complete day.
For a story worth preserving with intent: a multi-location commission, a full creative team and handmade objects to keep.
Prices shown are the current starting rates. Travel, venue costs and personal additions are itemised in your proposal.

THE EXPERIENCE
You do not need to know how to pose. A clear, thoughtful process makes honest photographs possible.
Tell me your date, city and the feeling you hope to remember. We begin by making sure we are the right fit.
Route, wardrobe, beauty and a wet-weather alternative are considered in advance, so the day itself can feel easy.
You never need to memorise poses. I offer clear prompts while leaving room for what cannot be arranged.
Digital images are fully edited and film is developed and scanned by me, with a clear and lasting final delivery.
GOOD TO KNOW
Not at all — that is true for most of my couples. I guide you through movement, conversation and simple actions, without placing everyone into the same set of poses.
We plan a wet-weather route around the city and season. Light rain can feel wonderfully cinematic; unsafe or unsuitable weather is handled according to the agreed contingency plan.
Film cannot be reviewed on the spot, but exposure, storage and development follow a reliable process. Digital coverage runs alongside it, so surprise and dependability can coexist.
Popular weekends and peak-season dates are best discussed early. Send your date and city first, and I can advise around availability, light and route.

BEGIN YOUR STORY
Send your date, city, preferred collection and one sentence about how you want the photographs to feel. I’ll reply with availability and a clear next step.
