RECENT STORIES

Not simply photographed in Britain,
but deeply lived here.

I care about whether a gallery can breathe — whether it holds your connection and your own rhythm. Architecture is the setting; what happens between two people is the real story.

EDITORIAL & COLLABORATION

Beyond commissions,
the practice of looking.

These are clearly labelled brand collaborations and creative editorials, never presented as real client stories. They show how Glimpse studies clothing, space and the British landscape.

THE GLIMPSE WAY

“A good photograph is not one that looks perfect,
but one that still feels like you years later.”

I’m Mark, the photographer behind Glimpse Studio. I love the soft light of an overcast British day and the colour and grain that only film can hold. I take care of routes, light and pace, so your attention can stay with each other.

Every analogue commission is photographed alongside a digital story. Film brings the unrepeatable surprise; digital provides a complete and dependable record. Romance should never require a gamble.

THE EXPERIENCE

You stay present with each other.
I’ll take care of the rest.

You do not need to know how to pose. A clear, thoughtful process makes honest photographs possible.

  1. 01

    First, I listen

Tell me your date, city and the feeling you hope to remember. We begin by making sure we are the right fit.

  2. 02

    We shape the plan

Route, wardrobe, beauty and a wet-weather alternative are considered in advance, so the day itself can feel easy.

  3. 03

    Gentle direction, honest moments

You never need to memorise poses. I offer clear prompts while leaving room for what cannot be arranged.

  4. 04

    Your story, delivered with care

Digital images are fully edited and film is developed and scanned by me, with a clear and lasting final delivery.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few things
you may want to ask.

We have never posed for photographs. Is that a problem?+

Not at all — that is true for most of my couples. I guide you through movement, conversation and simple actions, without placing everyone into the same set of poses.

What happens if it rains?+

We plan a wet-weather route around the city and season. Light rain can feel wonderfully cinematic; unsafe or unsuitable weather is handled according to the agreed contingency plan.

Can film fail?+

Film cannot be reviewed on the spot, but exposure, storage and development follow a reliable process. Digital coverage runs alongside it, so surprise and dependability can coexist.

How far ahead should we book?+

Popular weekends and peak-season dates are best discussed early. Send your date and city first, and I can advise around availability, light and route.
